Slama Construction, LLC is a family owned and operated full service finish carpentry business based in Covington Louisiana. Originally, Slama Construction started as a father & his sons operated business. But as the business grew, so did the team. Currently we operate with three running crews, servicing the St. Tammany, Livingston, Washington, Jefferson, and Orleans Parishes.

Slama Construction was established in 1976, in New Orleans. Slama Construction, originally a marine capentry contractor, served the West End area of New Orleans. In 1984 Slama Construction moved to the North Shore area, namely Mandeville, to expand into the booming residental housing market. It was that move that established Slama Construction as “one of the best” custom finish capentry services on the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain. Our marine background allows us to offer the customer curved moldings and stair parts. We excel at the large difficult jobs, but we never overlook the small jobs.
